What is the usage of the medicine and how does it work?
  • Gemtero is used for the treatment of pancreas cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, bladder cancer, soft-tissue sarcoma, metastatic breast cancer, ovarian cancer. 

How to take this medicine?
  • Gemcitabine is given by infusion through a vein (intravenously, by IV).  There is no pill form of Gemcitabine. Take the injection as advised and scheduled by your doctor.

What are things you need to know before taking this medicine?
  • This injection is not recommended for pregnant women as it can harm the unborn baby. 
  • Do not take any type of vaccination while taking this injection without consulting your doctor.
  • Do not breast feed while taking this medicine. 

What are the side effects/adverse reactions of this medicines?
  • Side effects of Gemtero diarrhea, weakness, hair loss, mouth sores, difficulty sleeping, shortness of breath (see lung problems).

  • Erlocip Tablet is an anticancer medicine used for the treating non-small cell lung cancer and also in a combination with gemcitabine to treat pancreatic cancer. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.

How to take this medicine?
  • Erlotinib tablets should be taken either 1 hour before or 2 hours after ingestion of food.

What are things you need to know before taking this medicine?
  • This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age. This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women and while breastfeeding unless absolutely necessary.Stop smoking and use effective contraceptive measures while on erlotinib treatment. Do not start erlotinib if you use contact lenses, have had eye problems (ulcers in front part of eye, dry eyes, inflammation in front part of eye), liver or kidney problems, intolerance to some sugars.
