• This medication is used to treat certain types of cancer (including kidney, thyroid cancer). It belongs to a class of drugs known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.

• Take Cabometyx on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after you eat anything. Take the medicine with a full glass of water. Use the medicine exactly as directed.

• Doxotero 10 mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by suppressing the activity of an enzyme (topoisomerase II) involved in DNA multiplication of the cancer cells. It also forms harmful chemicals (free radicals) which cause DNA damage. This slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them.

• Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. 

• Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart problems or low production of blood cells from the bone marrow. You may need to perform blood count, heart/kidney/liver function tests before therapy. This therapy may cause damage to heart muscle or heart failure, the risk is more if radiation was used as treatment before for upper body.

• Take Cometriq on an empty stomach. Do not eat for at least 2 hours before and at least 1 hour after taking it. Do not drink grapefruit juice while taking the medicine as it may change the cabozantinib amount in your blood.

• This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women as it can harm the unborn baby.
• Do not take any type of vaccinations while you are taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.
• Do not breast feed while taking this medicine.
• You should not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit during your treatment with this medicine.

• Side effects of Cometriq include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation, mouth sores or redness, changes in your sense of taste, feeling tired, weight loss, abnormal liver function tests or other blood tests.

• Sorafenat Tablet prevents and development and multiplication of cancer cells. Thus drug is used in the treatment of thyroid cancer, liver cancer as well as renal cancer. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

• Doctor’s mostly prescribed Sorafenat Tablet twice a day. It should be taken a couple of hours before a meal.

• Sorafenat Tablet is also highly likely to affect the heart and also cause severe bleeding. Thus if you develop any chest discomfort, unusual sweating or experience extreme dizziness, vaginal bleeding or blood in vomit get in touch with your medical adviser immediately. Go for regular blood pressure checks, when you are taking Soranib Tablet.
