• Thalitero is used for the for treatment of skin lesions associated with leprosy. It is also used for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It acts by inhibiting th growth of new blood vessels in tumors, enhancing the status of the immune system, or decreasing cytokine and growth factor production.

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your treating doctor. Take it on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour after eating a meal. Swallow the capsule whole. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. 

• This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women as it can harm the unborn baby. 
• Do not take any type of vaccination while taking this  medicine without consuting your doctor.
• Do not breast feed while taking this medicine.
• Do not take other medications that may cause drowsiness without consulting your doctor.

• Side effects of Thalitero include low WBC count, dizziness, skin rashes, sedative effects, peripheral neutropathy, constipation and swelling of the feet or ankles.
